I have to agree with Michael about the clipping. I do think it is absolutely horrible and I am glad I'm living somewhere clipping isn't the standard and where not too many does it. And ontop of it it's currently a petition about classifying clipping o birds as animal cruelty. Birds are ment to fly and ahold be allowed the space and possibilities todo so. Just take the too small homes situation where someone thinks it is okay because the bird can fly back n forth.... Immagine keeping a horse in a small enough place where it could run one direction, completely stop, turn around, run the other direction... Or keep a dog from ever moving faster than a crawl... I could go on for ever.... But keeping a bird caged for two weeks are far less cruel than clipping it.

I've a lot of sympathy for this situation.
Earhart seems to have come to terms with the fact that his injury means he can no longer fly now. But when he first got here he spent a lot of time sulking and any time I had him on my hand he would spend all of his time flapping desperately trying to take off.
