Just thought I would share a happy story :)

My parrots are all so funny, but when I try to think of a specific story to tell of them, I usually draw a blank. I thought I would share this story of my African Grey Tia.
My friend (who actually introduced me to this forum) was interested in parrots so she came over to see my flock. Tia is quite often shy around new people, so she just kind of stared. Sarah started making a bald eagle call, and of course as soon as she left Tia started mimicking it!
Now whenever Sarah calls me or comes over, Tia greets her with the bald eagle call...what a smart parrot!

That's such a cute story! Thanks for sharing it. Yes, these beasts are so smart, it's scary. Tiki is basically potty trained and has few accidents. She also mimics my calls and can talk some. :)

Sometimes Tia mimics me so well, I think it was me! I have to stop and think until I hear her continue her chatter and I'm like "oh it was just Tia" hahaha
I also have a Savannah kitten, so I am constantly being outsmarted by my pets!
Maybe one day I will learn...
