Postby Pricey_boy » Thu Jan 31, 2013 9:27 am

I bought bandit pellets today and I'm going to switch him to a pellet diet he likes them but doesn't prefer them over other foods. M question is how much percentage of his diet should consist of the pellets right now id say its about 20% mix seed 10% mix nuts and the rest fruit and veg

I've had great success with pellet conversion by mashing them up with a bit of water and mixing in some seeds. Over time you can reduce the number of seeds and the amount of water.

I use a local pellet feed that is mixed with dried vegetables but look into roudybush, too.
