Lately, Kiwi has been doing what I think is masturbation. She sits on my hand and rubs her bum on my hand (and puffs out her feathers sometimes). When she started doing this I looked it up and one I could only find one website saying that it was masturbation; a lady described the exact same behavior in her GCC. So, the past week or so every chance Kiwi gets she tries to sit on my hand and do this. She is also more aggressive. She used to nip me, but when she sits on my hand she bites me really hard too and she never used to do that. When I see her trying to sit on my hand I take her off right away and sometimes put her in her cage if she bites too hard. I'm just wondering how long this will last? Kiwi is 8 months old. Any info is appreciated!
