I don't know, Caitlin - the perch is great but Stevie looks none too sure about the bath, are you sure he's enjoying it? Or is it just the camera making him nervous?

Dont worry, I think he is enjoying it :D!

Most central and south america parrots love showering, both mine do :)!

I'm sure you know your own bird and are the best judge of whether he's enjoying it, take no notice of me, I didn't mean to rain on your perch parade. He's very cute

I know this is going to sound bad, but I don't even use a bathtub perch. The gold and blue hops right into the tub and sit directly under the tub faucet. Not the shower head, the faucet. He'll stay in there for five minutes at a time, come out completely drenched, and then loves to sit in front of the blow dryer. He is the simplest of all the birds I know to bathe. He seems to really enjoy the pressure of the water, like a massage I think.

And just in case someone is worried about the blow dryer, I always use it on his cage, so he can move away from it if he wants, and he never does! He loves to flap his wings in the breeze, and shakes his tail feathers. He even rotates himself, the silly thing.
