Assalamu Alaikum. Yes that chain looks quite dangerous and could injure your bird, maybe you could get an Aviator Harness delivered to Lebanon. Try emailing them or contacting them to ask.

Don't use a chain ever. The aviator is good but you will need to train your bird to wear it. I'm pretty sure they have free shipping worldwide if you order direct.

Oddly, a parrot owner and exotics shop manager told me a similar thing. She said to get a cat leash and use the clip on my bird's band. I was like 'okay...' and she was a nice lady so I didn't argue. She thought only baby birds would use harnesses...

No all birds use harnesses providing you train them, no matter how old they are and they have to be properly fitted otherwise there's an awful moment where they ping back! Walking tensions on the leash aren't the same as flying tensions.

Definitely do NOT USE THAT CHAIN, ITS DANGEROUS and not to mention cruel. Harness and aviator flying leashes are designed to give the bird 'freedom' to fly this chain is not. If you can't get hold of one try going directly to the company.
