boing

i bought chico a boing yesterday and he loves it. he went straight on it, didnt have to play with it first. i bought it from a garden centre. they also sell overpriced parrots as well, and they are in cages in an enclosure you cant even get to. shame cause id have liked to see them close up. but they do do sell some really great toys. :senegal:

Boing's are great!! :D We have 4 of them. They each have one in thier cage and then there is one each that goes from the pirches that we attached to the ciling down to the cages.

This is a boing. http://www.birdsupplies.com/PhotoGaller ... =JPTwister

It's a ladder and a swing and a toy all in one. I've never seen a bird who doesn't love them! Your GCC will LOVE one!

batman loves her boing.
I cant stand paying for them though and so make my own using instructions from another site.

basically though its a horse lead rope, stainless steel wire and end caps.
You push the wire through the middle of lead rope, hook and cap it.

costs about $15 all up as opposed to the $40 odd that a boing costs over our way.

I've always thought of getting one but I haven't found them in any stores in my area. I'd like to order one online but they are fairly expensive.

Oknuma, do you have any pictures you could post of your home made ones?

Mandy I don't know what the shipping to Canada would be but I recently got new boings for thier cages for $3.99 US. I think the shipping was only around $9 and I ordered 3 of them plus two large rope bendable perches and some toys.

I got mine at www.bird.com

I've never looked at that site before. Some of the toys on there I've looked at buying for at least 5X as much on other sites! Thanks!
