chico and a ball

Postby kimbo » Mon Apr 26, 2010 7:37 am

i bought chico a ball, a squeeky dog ball, a light one as he likes to roll around with it. i put him on the window cill and he started to mimic the squeek it made me giggle, money well spent, and before anyone gets upset, he is always supervised so he wont be pulling the squeeker out.

I have ordered a babble ball for my senegal. In case you are not familiar with it, it is a ball that you hang from the cage or you can let it free roll. Whenever the bird touches it, it will make a sound. It has lots of sounds programmed in, mostly animal sounds.... So if you want your bird to moo, quack and stuff then it is good :D

HyperD, where did you get the babble ball? That sounds like a neat idea.

Lucy and Jessie already mimic several different animals because they hear them all summer long at the trailer. Jessie has even joined in with the crows at 6:00am in the morning. Its cute, but ot so cute when you've only had a few hours sleep ;)

Thanks for the link HyperD.

For anyone in North America that is interested, I googled Birdy Babble Ball and found several online stores that sell within North America.

I have a babble ball but my birds were terrified of it. It's lost now... I know it's somewhere in the house but no clue where. I think the cat got it and probably rolled it under something. I should find it and give it another try.
