Well they aren't caged together for one.
They are out only when supervised. I would put a stop to anything before they would attempt to breed.
Oh and one of the Meyer's, the oldest one, is terribly attached to my boyfriend and couldn't care less about the other Meyer's. She's much more human, correction MEN, oriented than bird oriented.

I have had no noise complaint.

My Pois are relatively quiet. My Lovebird is noisier than them overall and she's not too bad, specially for a lovebird.

I guess it also helps that the walls here are made of concrete. One of my neighbours also had a lovebird; I could hear her bird in the hallway but once I stepped in my appartment, nothing.

Because it was relevant to the discussion, here are pictures of the damage my wood-chippers can do in a day..

Zuri's mess

Now the wood toy they destroyed wasn't particularly big and made of pretty soft wood. But still, they now have something slightly bigger and harder to chomp on and there are still plenty of wood chips in the bottom of their cages. Not that I'm complaining, the mess is pretty much localized in their cages and it proves that they were busy doing something.

Forgot to answer that earlier, 4 out of 5 birds are flighted. Petey is kept clip so that she can't go after my other birds and possibly attack them. Until I can trust her enough that she will not do that, she will be clipped.

my budgie has 4 toys in his cage. 1 big toy it cost $20... and he has 3 smaller toys one is a small toy it clips to the side of the cage and has a cage on it with a bell and it spins around, the others are a ball with a bell (similar to the cat ones) but it has a hook to hang up, and he also has one of those perch toys that the perch goes through and it has the bells around it....he now has a leather toy that has a wood chew on it leather and 2 bells, new fav toy he does not leave it alone

outside the cage is a whole different story................
