Well, we have phase-1 complete... at about 10pm last night. So, we woke up all the birds, and let them see it.... I know, I know... should've let them sleep but excitement set in (and we had a few drinks while making it, haha)

@Mr.Darcy --- We purchased the same "medical tape" that they use for horses etc. which is really just some cloth bandge-type stuff. Took quite a few rolls (because we really coated it, to make sure there's a few chew-layers) but we wrapped all the parts.
Maybe I can come up with a parts list and costs, and maybe use my Graphic Design skills to create a quick how-to for this exact type of stand.
