Hard rubber toys?

Are hard rubber dog toys safe for parrots, like Kongs and those big rubber rings?

Some are. One of Scooter's favorite toys is a bell on a chain inside one of those rubber balls with hexagonal openings in them. As far as I can tell, it is identical to the same balls marketed for dogs, although it was sold as a bird toy by a bird toy company. But I think some of the Kong products have scents impregnated in the rubber, and I'm not sure about that.

I have that ball for my dogs and the bird loves it! i also sometimes stuff it with "treats", nuts in the shell, grapes, anything that will fit. I also have a kong and there isnt any scent to it, you could stuff and hang that too!
