I have a box of 500 uncolored jumbo popsicle sticks. They can't get enough of them.

I just ordered a box of 100 dyed from Ebay. With shipping, they were $4USD. They had a box of 1000 uncolored for $10USD... and I have a feeling I'll be buying them next.

Voted: "Vigorous" considering 4 budgies they are like little monkeys: monkey see, monkey do ;) Which in reality mean, when one start playing with something, another curious follows fast and soon 4 of them are doing the same.
Chico so far is like crying baby- to go to my shoulder, and after she's bored enough she things that her toys are my hair or things on my desk, but recently she started playing with her own toys more!(maybe that one monkey was watching budgies enough  )

I'd put Akila somewhere between moderate and vigorous, he likes to beat up toys, especially hanging bells and hard plastic things. Batting stuff around on top of his cage, then throwing it off, is a a favourite. He really seems to like hanging upside-down while playing with toys too. I'd say his favourite activity his throwing anything he can pick up/dislodge to the floor.

rainbow likes to beat up bells and hit stuff, but for short bursts of time. She does like to chew but she only likes chewing objects that are fixed in place and it's hard to find chew toys that aren't dangly/hang from the ceiling. I find myself buying those woven twig rodent huts and attaching them to the side of her cage, she makes quick work of those and they're not too pricey.

It depends on the bird.

Piper and Petey are shy to moderate, depending on the toys and on their mood.

All the others are vigorous to relentless.

My budgies are also vigorous little monkeys. :) They LOVE the popsicle stick toys, the mirrors with beads, and bells. One of them even managed to dislodge one of the bells from a toy, and I have no idea how they did it - it is attached by one of those rounds like you find on a keyring, only it is very small. It took me 15-20 minutes to reattach it! lol

Well, wouldn't you know, as soon as I said JJ didn't play at all, she starts playing on ME! LOL! She's been using me as a jungle gym while I'm studying, climbing in and out of my fingers, hanging from my ponytail, rolling down the front of my shirt... and her favorite pastime seems to be chewing up my notes. (yes, I'm thrilled by that. (Not!))

I guess her inner Conure is starting to emerge! :D

My bird's cage is packed with toys and he never touches them :(
He'll wrestle with me or chew on something that he's not supposed to.. but he won't touch his toys.
