for qwil (by budgie) i cannot go wrong with bells. you can pick them at at almost any craft shop, even some bird supply stores sell bells. also another cheap toy i found was i tied 10 straws together and clipped them to the side of his cage, he had a ball with them!

Easily destroyable wood. Look up 'bird kabob', it's made of pieces of Yucca. All hookbills, including budgies, need to chew/shred things to wear down their beak, and I've found Yucca to be very soft. My budgie loves it!

I suggest you start buying toys online. A lot cheaper, with a wider variety.

I wholeheartedly agree.

This is my budgie's favourite toy, hands down. The busy basket.

Okay thanks. And is peanut butter okay for parakeets.. I heard a person made treats for birds by rolling bird seed in peanut butter. Is that okay for them?

In small amounts yes, but I personally wouldn't do it often because peanuts aren't too good for parrots in large quantities.

You know, I used to do that. But learning more about proper nutrition, I figured that all the salt in it would just be too bad for them.

How about a bit of natural honey? (not too much)

Another idea would be to put some seed on some fruit or vegetables.
