Yes, my tiel loves them and he chews on them. My tiel likes it if you stuff it With seeds so he has to take them out.

put some more perches in some rope ones and some natural wood ones

yea i go a rope and a natural wood and a edible perch but she only knows how to get from the edible perch to the main perch wich is all at the top by her food. She's a piglet Then she has a play perch with toys and beads and a millet stick on the side. so she has funt here too.

Go Chevy! Dont forget, s/he is only a baby, it will take a while to learn to negotiate the cage properly (like a toddler learning to walk). As long as s/he can get to water and food. Rory seems to drink more some days that other, as long as s/he is drinking something, is active and playing, its all ok. Are you liking "poo soup" yet?

The more toys the better. I would say at the very least you should have five. It is good to offer a variety by having some wood toys, some metal toys, some paper toys, and so on.
