$4.13 tabletop training perch

My boyfriend and I just went to home depot and bought the supplies to make a small training perch for only $4.13. We got the idea from a picture on google.com and then just sawed 6 pieces of 1/2 pvc the same size and kept the top piece longer. It was very easy it took him like 5 min to make haha. Just thought I'd give everyone the idea if you need more specifics let me know.

My question though is for the actual part my bird will perch on I've read to put vet wrap on it. Where could I get some rather than online?

Wouldn't that be like surgical paper tape? Any drug store.

I'd go with Vet Wrap
