good toy buying and making sites?

Postby coral » Sat Sep 17, 2011 12:21 pm

where do you buy your toys from? ive been trying to find some good sites since the site i buy from is going to stop selling - bluebirdtoys.com. i like this site because it has good toys and parts for good prices.

also do you know of any sites that give ideas and instructions on how to make toys? i ordered a bunch of toy parts now i just need some ideas on what to turn them into :)

I dont know of any sites with toy-making instructions... I just use my imagination :D Here are some of the toys I have made:

Or you could also look on other sites that sell toys and try to copy them.

Here are some pictures of toys I have made. Let me know if you have any specific questions about how I did something, what materials I used, or where I got them.

I have found that a cardboard egg carton can be fun for them. Of course they turn big ones into little ones so you have mulch.

They can, there is a chance that used egg cartons can harbor salmonella. Some parrot supplies stores do sell egg carton that weren't used.

For stores, I like Things for Wings, Oliver's Garden, mother pluckin' bird toys, grey feather toys amongst others..
