Popsicle sticks

Different woods cost different amounts. They will tell you what the wood is. Oak, maple and cherry are good. I am not sure about pine because of the oil in it.

Popsicle sticks are made from birch. They are safe for your bird.

Thanks for ur answer! I looked birch on google too so i can see a picture in case i find it somewhweere. And what about oak? is it safe for birds?

Go to a Crafts store. You can buy the Large Popsicle Sticks, multi colored, non toxic in a bag of 75 for $2.99.

I get mine at Hobby Lobby.

And if it used to have a popsicle on it, it's probably okay because they wouldn't put food on a stick that was loaded with chemicals.

They are most often made out of birch wood. None of the common types of wood used foor popsickles or similiar stuff are poisonus.

I do not know of any type of wood that is not poisonous to humans but are to parrots. Most woods that are poisonous to them are so to us as well, only dofference is we don't chew on it. :)
(unless it's a popisckle stick. ;))
