Postby fishbait » Wed Jan 11, 2012 10:30 am

New playgym i built for my Conure! Still have to attach eye hooks for toys etc.! I used a piece of ceramic/clay tile for the base - glued to a piece of 1/2" plywood!

Upload it to a picture service, like flickr.com or something similar, then use the embed image option =).

It took me a while to sort out my avatar, it wouldn't upload unless it was approx 6kb. I just used paint to resize and eventually got it small enough

just to add on sizing the picture, paint isnt really the best option to resize pictures in, however it works... but when your facing a max filesize limit rather than a pixellimit it gets thougher in pain. this is due to the fact that paint isn't too good at compressing the files. I always use photoshop, however that is a costly program if you wont use it for anything except fixing your avatars on forum. But I am pretty sure there is most likely a free alternative as well and someone here on the forum might have a tip for you there. And it might actually be worth starting a thread about.

Seeing starting a howto thread on how to resize pictures to be adjusted to the forum in photoshop seems meaningless since most people that has spent the money buying it are usually interested enough in image editing to already know what to look for.

There is a great little program called PIXresizer, and its free. I use it all the time to re-size all my
photos for forums. I put all my pictures on photobucket.com and then just link them to the post.

Here is the link for PIXresizer:
