I've bought Tiki, my Senegal Parrot, some cool toys to shred, but she really likes to shred the newspaper at the bottom of the cage!
I think making a newspaper toy (bundled and bound by newspaper strips, tied and shred at the top) would make a great and cheap toy.
Has anyone tried this? I'm going to make this... pics to be shared soon!

I make these often!! I roll up three pages of newspaper (seperatly and with treats inside) and then I braid these three 'ropes' together and make the ends stuck with strips. Joe LOVES these toys

cooler than mine but i wrap treats and toys like popscicle sticks in newspaper in stick them in empty toilet paper roll.
