Pine Cones!

So today i decided to give Ladu a pine cone to forage from. I filled it with some seeds and other treats and put it in his cage. It turns out, he loves pine cones. First he started to break off the little bits that stick out and then he got to the seeds inside and started to eat them. Then he realised that shaking the pine cone was going to get the seeds out quicker

I collected loads to give to mine but then I cremated them all in the oven! Doh!
I will try again when I can get to somewhere where there is a decent supply so I can pick out the ones I want.
