Cool old chair..

Hello guys! So today while cleaning out my garage I found this tiny, pretty doll/child's chair. The seat part of it was thatched that had torn, so I ripped that all out and had this nice little wooden chair frame with curled sides ect.

And my first thought was: gee, this could be an awesome thing for a bird!

I consulted and my family friend, an avid crafter, and we thought of some awesome uses for it, including a cool bath/water fountain.

But my biggest worry is if it can be cleaned. It's been sitting there a long time...is there any way I could completely clean it so it's safe for my parrot? My friend suggested simply power washing it, would this work?

Scrub with a brush with soap and hot water, rinse, dry, disinfect, dry again.
