Hi there, I would suggest a stainless steel skewer as a base for toy making.

I bought a small pouch of 3 different sizes of plastic zip ties, if you know what they are, and looped them all together to make a bunch of ties hanging off each other. To add a little more fun, I zip-tied a foot toy to the zip-tie bundle and it's been a huge hit. He's destroying it - but slowly, and hasn't lost interest in it though it's been over a week now.

And it's extremely cheap to make. The foot toy cost me .50, and the zip ties $2. Out of the zip tie bag I could make 5 toys.

Hi everyone. I've looked through many reviews (http://www.pissedconsumer.com/consumer- ... inary.html) and still have some questions. What are the best toys for cockatoo? What would you advise?
