Not sure I'm following. The material you are showing on the pictures of the toys is clearly not an actual mophead which is what you seemed to be implying in your first post (sorry if I mis-read/misunderstood), whilst it may be made of the same or similar material it is most probably treated differently, if they are treated at all. Toy manufacturers wont just buy a load of mopheads and seperate them up to use in their toys any more than mophead manufacturers buy their mopheads pre-made (otherwise they wouldn't be the manufactuer right), the difference will be how they are processed once the raw material has been bought.

It is more than possible to make more than one product out of 1 material so I'm not sure what you are getting at?

My point is, mophead material, whatever is used to make mops, is being used to make bird toys. It is out there, whatever the process is, once it reaches bird toy manufacturers, or before it reaches them. No, bird toy manufacturers are not going to buy the mopheads already made.

My other posts also refer to for the consumer, what criteria to look for on labeling, to make sure and research for safe materials.

And that it is clearly visible, upon physically looking at it, that it is the same material which is used to make mopheads for the consumer.

This is why some people are also saying buy unused new mophead to make bird toys.

It's out there for the research and for the getting, as to where to get this material.
