Choosing A Name For Cape Parrot

Choosing A Name For Cape Parrot (click for article)

I wrote up some details about how I came up with and settled on the name Truman as well as what it means to me. I'd like to thank Pchela for not getting too upset with me using one of her favorite names. I think it is really suitable and have found it just totally works when I say it out loud to this parrot or talk about him. Some new pictures on that blog post as well (I try to add these kinds of treats to my posts to give you incentive to read them).

Isn't it great when you find a name that just seems to fit perfectly?

Don't worry about 'taking' someone else's name...it's unlikely the two parrots would end up in the same class at school, or anything like that...

He absolutely is beautifull. And the name fits him perfectly.
The Truman Show was on tv here a couple of days ago and I had to watch it. As long as you dont start inserting dubious commercials into the shows, I'm ok with the concept
Kika: Senegal Parrot.
Guus: Cockatiel, Yellowcheek, cinnamon, pearl, pied.

:D It worked out... Truman certainly suits him. I'm still hunting for the perfect name for my Grey.
