I think the blog is working great! Great flow between the forum and the blog, it's very easy to comment and to flip between the two.

The only thing I've noticed is that the smilies don't work on the Blog. It makes the comments look a little funny when you're viewing them from the blog and the images don't work. Is there any way to correct that?

I will eventually but it's quite difficult so I'm leaving that off for now. That's why I warn that extra forum features and formatting may not work so it's best to make purely text responses.

Do not fast him for 10 hours. Birds die within a few days of starvation, 10 hours is painful or the bird and very unhealthy.

Michael, wanted to offer my feedback of your entire website here - your Trained Parrot Blog is fantastic. I have learned so much from your articles. I've read through nearly all of them, many even before I joined as a member. And the videos interspersed with them are so helpful too. sometimes they don't work anymore, but I am usually able to find the same video directly on the youtube site when I enter the name of the video in the search box.

thanks for keeping the blog and the forum going, its really great work you've done with this entire site and your dedication to parrots overall. I appreciate this forum and blog because its the only one I have been able to find which has as its grounding philosophy that parrots SHOULD be kept flighted. I fully agree with this position, and am simply fed up with parrot "experts", vets, breeders, and shops saying that its a "choice" or a "preference", or most absurdly, a "safety" thing. So I'm grateful for the committed stance you've taken on this issue.

You have done such a fine job with your birds. My birds and I are learning a lot every day from this website. Thanks again!
