Winter Carrier for Transporting Parrots

I built a special carrier for transporting my parrots to flight training practices this winter. This article is about how I adapted a single carrier to transport both parrots in warmth... and style!

I like what you've done with it Michael. I actually use nesting material (wood shavings) on the bottom of mine. I don't like it when they do their business on paper and then step on it :)

So what I have is paper towel on the bottom with some wood shavings on the bottom. I discovered this by accident with the baby birds . . long story!

Very nice! I love that idea. They are happy, safe, warm and comfortable in that setup. How clever of you to make that up for your birds.
