Glad you posted this. I've been doing this for a couple years now. I also buy some at the goodwill store. I place them in the dishwasher on sanitize before giving them to my birds.

I also do this for my tiel, I check them wen I giv them to him and I only let him play with them wen I am watching him

Parrots and New York

Every time I read your forum - or one of the other blogs- it reminds me that I lived most of my adult life in New York City - I've had other birds - including an Eclectus - = Now - I'm buying a Senegal - which is arriving tomorrow. I'm very excited about my new baby.
