Unfortunately, he saw the drawer where I keep the ziplock baggie with his millet. He has been sitting on the foremost perch and staring at the drawer. After a few minutes of this he hops down to the bottom of his cage and starts trying to escape. Any ideas as to how to keep him from getting out? I do not want him to hurt himself. I have the doors twist tied shut. It seems to be working.
P.S. The Activitoys basketball toy has a problem. Lockheed loved it and played with it often. But he got stuck between the perch part and the backboard. I feel that it could be a great toy for a bigger bird but not appropriate for a smaller parakeet.
