You wouldn't believe what this hilarious cockatoo was doing!

Postby hlasdf » Fri Mar 29, 2013 7:24 pm

So today, I was visiting a bird store (Omar's Exotic Birds by Fran) and there was this one cockatoo in his cage who was screaming and climbing all over the place. I walked by and scratched its beak for a bit and left. I returned, only to find him in the most hilarious position! Just imagine this. He was hanging onto the side of the cage with his beak, and both of his legs were outstretched outside of the cage, reaching for me! I laughed and poked one of his feet, only to have my hand pulled towards him with the strength of 10,000 gods. I quickly pulled my hand out of his grip, and he did an evil laugh. This whole thing was even more hilarious when he did it again in the same position, but from the bottom of the cage so it looked as if he was sitting down with both his legs in front of him, butt touching the ground. His wings were a bit open too, as if they were arms by his side. It was awesome and I regret not bringing a camera! :cockatoo:

must be a too thing, mya does the same thing when i put her to bed or bring her cage outside to get her time outside. i don't like to encourage it though i might be overprotective but i always get nervous she's going to hurt herself.

That is too funny! What an adorable personality. This is why I love going to pet stores, you never know what kind of random fun you might have!
