hlasdf...I chose a Sennie because my boyfriend's was so affectionate. I think getting a chick might make the difference. if they start out being handled closely when they are very young and want to feel very safe and secure, the snuggles stick. At least it did with Akeyo (my bf's Senegal). I guess I'll have to see what happens with Marvin.

mrbowlerhat...that's funny about Miley's shoulder preference. Marvin favors my right shoulder, too. When he flies to me he will go out of his way to land on the right side. It my not have anything to do with it, but he's very strongly right-handed, too. He never picks up food or toys with his left and he leads with his right foot to step up.

I have to wonder how much understand comparative anatomy. Marvin is extremely gentle around my eyes...he likes to groom my eyelashes and eyebrows but he does it with a very delicate touch. He has figured out that my mouth is like his beak, but my nose is a mystery to him and my ears are basically chew toys. So far he never bites down hard enough for it to hurt, anywhere. Not even when he's irritated. Hope that lasts! So far he's not very nippy at all.

Oh! I've never thought about that connection, but I have noticed Miley's very right-handed, too! That's quite interesting, actually!
(And I like how much Marvin seems to remind me of Miley. He sounds adorable! )
