Bandit is 5 months today :')

Postby Cockatielsongs » Mon Apr 08, 2013 11:12 pm

Hi all!

Just wanted to say that today my baby boy is 5 months old! :D :') It's been a month since I picked him up from the breeder, feels like yesterday I fidgeting about in the car ride to the breeder, panicking about a dozen problems that could turn up. He was biting and drawing blood, screeching and flapping, now look at him asleep on my lap as I type this, always wanting a cuddle and eager to train. Hehe

I'd love to post photos of him eating oatmeal for breakfast this morning and getting his face all sticky but I'm not sure how...

Anyways, love him to death :D :')

Thats great, I love Galahs. My wife wanted one initially, but we were put off by cockatoo's reputation. Then we went looking for a Meyers, but the breeder had amazons as well, 10 week old birds. We were hooked instantly and instead we went with a oh so much easier amazon (not  ).

Post more pictures if you can, I really like galahs and if you want to share bandits antics here's how to do it.

Register an account on a picture hosting website such as picassa or flickr or some other site. I think putting the images in your public folder in your dropbox works as well, if you are using that.

After uploading your files there, rightclick on the image and select, copy image location, or copy image url or something similar. This url is what you use on this forum to get your pictures here.

Next, when you are creating a post, click on the little square above the writing window that says Img. Its located in the middle.
This will cause these to appear:
(I put the dot there to make the code stay, it wont be there when you press Img)

Now you put your marker between those two bracketed codes, and paste your url, like this:

Then, when you post, your pic will show up on the forums. The process is quite simple when youve done it a couple of times!

You can, as you did, also use the attachment function, but it doesnt work very well on these forums! Someday maybe it might ;) .
