And I know exactly what she did today. She left Emmi trails...

She ate her sugar snap pea and tried to put the string part through the bars of the cage.

She took her Nutraberries to the top of her apple branch and gave her toys a light dusting of Nutraberry dust.

She ate her pellets neatly over her dish and left a fine powder.

She completely destroyed her finger trap. Not one piece was stuck on the grate at the bottom of the cage.

She carefully made each end of the straw toy I made her, look like flowers on each straw end...same with the round playing cards. little flowers lol

She chewed a good section of her apple branch...Yum Yum!

Emmi had a very full day today! I'm so glad to see her chew up and destroy toys...finally! Glad that I know how to make them cheaply. Anything paper like is best. So good to come home and see things USED! Makes me worry less about that she's keeping herself occupied and busy.

Emmi is such a character. Only with a bird do parents say, "Yay...my child is destroying things!" Sounds like she can be pretty aritstic, too (the straw toy).

Marvin had a comparably lousy day yesterday. I had a bunch of graphics work to do so he had to stay in his cage most of the day...for the first time ever. He wasn't happy, but when he's loose he fixates on my laptop and I can't get anything done. When I finally let him out he was caught between being happy to be with me and being angry that he was caged. It was "I love you I hate you I love you I hate you" all evening!

Lol I get that too sometimes. Especially if I have to leave my apartment to switch the laundry. I put her away. When I take her back out ten minutes later, she kisses and bites me on me. "I'm so thankful you came back!...But don't forget I'm mad you put me in my cage!" Lol
