talking in her sleep

Postby KimberlyAnn » Sun May 19, 2013 2:54 am

I have been so quiet. Just typing on my phone which Emmi can't hear. (touch screen) and I have a fan going to block noise.

For about 30 seconds, I heard soft peeping from Emmi's sleep cage. One corner was kinda uncovered and she had her head kinda under her wing with eyes closed and was peeping away. She didn't move other then that.

Do your birds do this? I wonder what they dream about. :)

Edmund does this.

I read somewhere that's when they practice new songs or chirps, when asleep or napping. I'm not sure how they know that but that's kind of cool to think that.

George has just started peeping in his sleep and today he's started whistling and singing really really well so it kind of adds up but i'm not sure that validates the reasons for it completely.

I guess it's just like us they talk and move in their sleep like us. :-)
