Pictures of plucked african greys?

Postby plumedephenix » Thu Jul 11, 2013 1:59 am

Hello everybody,

I'm writing a small educational article on parrots that are neglected and pluck, because it's something very common in my country, and with no laws to protect the african greys, education is the only solution for now...

Since my two rescued timnehs are perfectly healthy now, I need your help for pictures of a plucked african grey! One condition though, they have to be at least 1.5 megabytes big. Any help would be much appreciated, it's for a good cause!

Thank you!

That's breaching copyright laws. If you do that please seek permission of the pictures owners first.

You say it's for education, are you doing a presentation using PowerPoint or Prezi? You can use Google Images to find photos, but as Marie says, some photos may be copyrighted so you may need to ask permission. Also, make sure to properly give citations in your presentation (APA, MLA).

Here's a good photo (although so sad to see) from a good source and there's a contact option. Send an email and ask permission to use the photos for your project.

You can re-size images using Microsoft Paint, Photoshop or online options such as Photobucket.

Best of luck

GreenWing, thank you for the link, although it's heartbreaking... I managed to take pictures of a local african grey that plucks

I really hope my article helps some stupid owners see the light!
