My GCC, Monkey, was clipped when I got him. I woke up this morning, opened up his cage, and noticed he has a gorgeous new bright blue flight feather on his left wing! I'm so happy for him! This is his first step to becoming a fully flighted bird.
He stretches and flaps his wings occasionally, so I'm hoping it'll be an easy transition once he has a full set of flight feathers. I don't know if any of his previous owners left him flighted, but he has attempted to fly twice since he's been here, so I think he might know how.
I'm just so excited for him! Time to start flight proofing the house!
