About 2 hours into the drive, she started making all these noises. Talking to herself... that lasted about an hour! I had some bananas in her bowl and some water. She didn't touch either of them the entire ride.
Since being home - she was very nippy. She does the baby movements and noises all the time (the head bobs, etc). I was a little intimidated at first, since I am used to conures - she is much bigger. I noticed she wasn't touching her food or water at all which worries me. When I hold her water bowl up to her she will drink it though. Last night I warmed up some oatmeal and she ate a nice amount. She was eating it as a baby would (fast head movements in a gagging motion). I am keeping a close eye on her to make sure she will eat her solid food (below she ate a small piece of my Eggo).
She is doing so excellent with flight recalls. As soon as I say her name she flies right to my arm. After spending some time together last night in my room - I noticed a major change when she saw me this morning.. she actually got excited. Started bobbing up and down - opening her wings, and climbed down to the door. So I opened her cage and stepped over to the door way. Called "Willow" and yep! she flew to my arm
Here are some pics, and vids of our couple days together so far.
