hi , ive just brought 2 pairs of african greys , i got home and clean the cages but did not desturb the nest boxes , at the moment im looking for a cage and fight so ive put them in a spare room i feed them on low sunflower from johnson and jeff , i give them fruit and veg everyday and i use palm oil unreined . what i wanted know is some people say leave a light on to help them breed and some say the opposite can anyone help me out and also give me some tips thank you

You are feeding a bad diet and have not allowed the hens to fly for, at least, 4 months prior breeding PLUS it's too late in the season and you don't even know what kind of shape these birds are in (takes a year to evaluate this) so I suggest you think very carefully about this project because you are not only not prepared, you are doing things wrong and the birds could be harmed and even die from your lack of knowledge.
