Usually, the numbers that go across are the two last digits of the year the bird was born (like 09 would mean the bird was born in 2009) and the letters and numbers that go along are the breeders identification and the number for that particular parrot (like B&B 109, for example) but some of them also have the two letters for the state where the breeders is located (some states -like NJ- require this).
