My New Bird!

Postby Rebajoy » Sun Jun 08, 2014 5:43 pm

I just adopted a new bird today from a local rescue/bird shelter. His name is Bob the Bird! I'm so excited to have him in my little flock family! I just wanted to share him :)

Do I detect a trace of mischief in those eyes?

I have no idea as to how I missed it before, but thank you for picking your bird from a rescue rather than from a pet shop or breeder. There are just so many wonderful birds needing homes, it is just beyond belief that there are so many.

What a cutie! Bob is a great name, although I always thought lutino cockatiels look a bit like Pikachu with their red cheeks.. Then again, Bob's a lot easier to say than Pikachu, and after watching just a few episodes of Pokémon anyone would realise how annoying it would become to hear "Pikachu! Pika, pika, pika!" all day long, so with this in mind, Bob's an even better name
