Glad to hear that Paquita has settled in so well! She sounds very happy and healthy! Looking forward to your pictures of her.

A girl down the street got a parrotlet as a graduation present and posted a handful of photos on facebook, but a few weeks down the road there was no mention of the parrotlet. I really hope it's doing well at her home and it just ceased to be a social network novelty.

Something about her posture in pictures 1 and 4 makes her look adorably shy.

Such a cute and tiny little parrot, indeed1 And she most definitely is a full size parrot in this cute little body, I just don't know how so much parrot can fit in it.

Wolf; she=being a he is very beautiful all males have the bluing on their heads very easy to sex. I had six for a long time and bred them. They are a huge parrot, with a very small body and lots of attiude and will protect you from every thing. They also think they are dermitoljusts [sp] when it comes to your hands and freckles ect; Just full of them selves. I also had a disabled parrotlet, and that did not stop him.He was given to me as the people didn't want him because he was disabled. But I vet taped all his perche's, and his swing and he was just as feisty as the others. They are very easy to sex as females do not have the blue streaks along side of their head. But what-ever he won't care lol.Good luck with him and I hope you find him a nice little mate. He will fight to the death for you. and they will take on a parrot 4-times their size if they figure you're in danger great little watch dogs lol Good luck in finding another- and I am looking forward to seeing more pic's of him. River-7-Paquita; is just a beautiful baby. How old he??

Great, thanks for the information. I have never had a parrotlet before and was told that this was a 5 year old female and that she was really in need of a home. Here is the link to the post that I wrote just after getting him. viewtopic.php?f=25&t=12523 Just in case you are interested. Again thank you.
