Well he still won't step up, but then again since he is been hormonal I only ask him once a day and leave it at that. But I know that he is still very much bonded to me. Here are a few things that he does. Maybe someone might be able to explain some of them to me. One time he was out of his cage and just perched up on his door that's were he is most of the time when I let him out. I always let Andy out too. And mess with him so that he know that I love him too. I was working on their room drilling holes and screwing in stuff all the while Andy and Amos was watching me do all this. I must of moved to fast one time and Andy took of when Andy flew so did Amos and he ended up on the floor. Amos called to me so I went over and put out my hand, he just stepped right up with no problem once I got him up and he was close to his cage he flew back to his spot on his cage. But I felt pretty good about it. To think that when he felt he needed help he looked to me to help him. And I do spend time just standing by his cage and petting him. what he does sometimes I will have my hand out with the palm up and he will lie on his side in my hand with one foot hanging on the cage and the other in my hand. It's almost like he wants to come over to me but he can't decide just what to do. So I just let him lie there and I pet him with the other. He really likes it when I just stay by him and pet him and love on him. He is just going through this hormone and molt thing. so I spend as much time as I can just being there for him. I think one thing that also has help is that I got better lighting in their room. The light is above on the ceiling and really helps out the room. It's just funny how much I keep learning from them. You think that I am going to teach my parrot this and that and it ends up that they are teaching me. LOL
