You want her to receive the sunlight from early dawn all the way through to dark at which time she should go to sleep with no additional light. It is past breeding season and the days are already getting shorter on its own, so the blocking of any natural light is a moot point. It is a combination of the length of daylight and the wavelengths of the light most especially at dawn and at dusk that will reset her endocrine system to where it should be. The wavelengths at dusk are apparently more important than those at dawn.
Seeds, being high in protein and fats, should only be fed in limited amounts and then only in the evening. The remainder of her diet should consist of whole grains, beans, vegetables and fruit and only one or two nuts in a day.
