Thunderbird

Some people have legitimate stories of excitement or concern.
Then there's me.

My RLA loves loud, rumbling noises. Vacuums, laundry machines, drilling, electronic mixers, Boo calls out to every thundering noise--including thunder.

Where I live there are many thunderstorms in the summer season and I've had some time to reflect on the way Boo reacts to the storms and the utter excitement he seems to display. I've concluded he thinks he's a thunder god. I imagine his fantasy is something like this:

... or not ; )

Both of my parrots love these sounds, Boo is just much more enthusiastic about it. Whatever makes him happy, I suppose. They also like the sound of brushing your teeth. Such strange creatures.

LOL- Great drawings! They all love those noises, they make them want to take a bath - have you tried that?

I'm glad you like my drawings LOL

I have not! I didn't think that those noises triggered some sort of primal bathing instinct. I will definitely try it next time I'm doing laundry or brushing my teeth. A cleanliness party for the whole family!

Yes, they do. I don't know if it's some kind of a genetic memory or what but they all want to take a bath when they hear rumbling - well, not the ones that are scared of bathing, just the ones that enjoy it.
