Pajarita wrote: Don't you ever use the word 'perfect' in a sentence in that way? Like "This is the perfect cage for Lily" or "She chose the perfect dress for the occasion" Because, if you don't, you must be the only person on earth who doesn't.

Like i said, everything is perfect at something, but no complete perfection.
(so by one definition, I accept perfection) I always agreed with perfection by that definition, that's just not my main definition of it.
But "humans are the perfect builders" could apply too.

And please don't accuse me of letting some religion interfere with reason.

Would it make you happy to hear me say i think the human species is a bad thing, because I agree.
PLEASE,PLEASE tell me that clarifies it for you, or is at least enough to stop this discussion

In case you haven't noticed my name is Wolf not Pajarita. Posting what she said to justify saying that I said things that I did not say is a bit overboard don't you think?

Lol, wolf that was not to you.
I really thought I clarified that I am directing different things at different people all over the place so I understand you are confused, but that was to pajarita, though I think she may have stopped posting on this topic, I would not blame her if she did.
I can see your getting a bit frustrated so let's end this discussion, unless you want to keep trying to get your point across, but I honestly don't know what your point is anymore.

My point was contained in my original reply to Pajarita. But it doesn't really matter at this point. A little personal observation stated in humor really isn't worth all this . She understood and the rest is something else.

Isis sounds wonderful! Also, we've been attempting to teach our birds to say Assalam Alaikum since forever but my tiel and budgie just weren't up for it, and my mom's attempts to teach Fajr thus far have been a failure. (I never expected Fajr to talk at all so I'm happy with everything he does and don't try to teach him anything lol)

While her previous owner seems to have been lacking in some aspects of bird care, he seems to have lived and cared for her well if she is that responsive and loving. Isis is among your pet birds then, and doesn't live in the aviary with the others?

No, Shirtaain, she doesn't live in it YET. She will live in the smaller species birdroom to be built in the near future And I hope the 'near' is really 'near'! I am soooooo enthused about it I can't hardly wait! So much so that I had planned on going back home for a visit next February (summer and carnival there) and I have postponed it for 2016 so I can use the money to put extras in the birdrooms.

Gordon, I did not post because I had an almost all day errand yesterday (hair :D ) but I also think that this is a dead horse.

Not to re-initiate a conflict or anything- but i think humankind is the most capable of perfection since we can see the other creatures and imitate what is positive. The animal world is filled with all kinds of things for us humans to learn, but it is a choice for us and the fact that we choose to ignore it is what causes humanity to be less than perfect.
Also, some would argue that religion means that we think of nothing perfect but God. So don't you think that the overall creation, or the total of all things created, is in itself perfect? I mean, the flaw in one thing could be the strength in another, so doesn't that mean that there is not perfection in one thing, but the whole is perfect...

Humans would be closer to perfect if they could fly. I would like to have the same joy that they have while zooming through the house. The more they fly the better they get and the happier they are.
