This all started about a month ago, Kookooloo, would give me a good morning kiss or so and then she would raise one foot up like she would do to signal an attack, if you know what I mean. Then with her beak open she would twist her head around and come up next to her body with her head upside down with beak still open and then she would try to grab my hand. At first, I would just move my hand away from near her, but although this looked like she was saying go away or I will bite you, it somehow wasn't very convincing to me, so I stopped moving my hand away and instead moved it to make it easier for her to grab and bite me if that was what she wanted to do. Well she grabbed hold of my hand and pulled it in towards her chest and then pushed it away and released it as she pushed it away. She was very gentle with my hand and as soon as she released my hand she would snake her head around for another go at this. She really seems to enjoy this mock attack and it has grown to where she will push and pull my hand back and forth a few times before she lets go of it. She is always very gentle when she does this and has never hurt me and when she is done wrestling with my hand she always wants to give me kisses and then sing for a while, which is mostly whistles. I am assuming that she is having a grand time of it, at least it appears to me that she does.
I would really love to get pictures or a video of this new activity of hers, but she really doesn't like phones, remotes or cameras in my hands, so I can't get pictures of this just yet, but I will eventually find a way.
