The thing with clipped birds, Chika, is that even when they can't really fly, their bodies are so light (their bones are hollow) and so aerodynamic that a gust of wind (and it doesn't even have to be a strong gust) can carry them away. Lots of owners have lost their clipped birds because they thought, erroneously, that they couldn't get lost.
