Quakers, in my personal opinion, are one of the smartest species of parrots.

i think so too. yesterday morning i asked her " can you say hi?" she made a kiss noise and my sister was like " hi" and i asked her again and she didnt reply but my sister said " hi" and this morning i asked her if she could give me a kiss and she made a kiss noise and i repeated this 5 times :blinking: and when i came home i told her i love her and she made a kiss noise then i started talking into my hands (correction screaming) about how i love her so much and how she is cute >U< also clover has chewed off chewed lemons feathers next to his beak and my science teacher said that sometimes they do this because of mites so my sister is worried

There could also be other reasons for this. I am curious, does your science teacher have parrots?
Check for tiny holes in Lemons feathers and not just on her face and head. If you can use a magnifying glass to help you . Just make sure that you don't focus the light through the magnifying glass into a point or small circle of light as you could burn the bird. Maybe you can get some help from your older sister.

ok good news today. (.U.) clover makes a kiss noise if you ask her either "can you give me a kiss?" or
"kiss kiss?" and if you kiss her if she's in the mood she makes the kiss noise before you even finish and it is sooooo cute >U< also me and fajr are getting along pretty well. it started four days ago when i figured out that fajr wasnt getting all the attention he wanted/needed ( i dont know if he needed or wanted it.) so he was biting everybody in my family and has been hostile towards clover and lemon.
( he saw that they scratch each other on their heads so when he approached them clover started defending herself right away because fajr has attacked them before for taking all the attention away from him. poor fajr all he wants is a scratch though in our family we call it a "pet" and ever since they didnt pet him and because they were hostile he has been hostile and even pulled out a feather from clovers head once! the poor thing! ) anyways dont worry. we have worked out a system that helps prevent the fights 95% (the 5% gone is the fact that when im not home or when im out of the room) but fajr never goes into the basement unless someone takes him ( the washing machine and the dryer are down there and sometimes he doesnt come off of my mom when she needs to go down there so fajr sits on a hanger down there and watches as she does the laundry.)and so as i was saying i found pout he wasnt getting all the attention wanted/needed so i was like " the poor thing!" and so i often wrapped him up in a cloth of some sort folded so that he couldnt bite me ( his head was never inside the cloth because if youve ever wrapped yourself up in a blanket where your head was in there too then you know how it feels like to feel like your running out of air. so i always made sure his feetwere free and fis head but his feet coulnt get a grip because if he got a grip i was pretty sure he would pull him self out and bite me :gcc: so like i was saying i would take him to someone who was bound to give him attention ( also i usd the same method to put him in hhis cage at his bedtime because im in charge of doing that and giving the birds their night food but pretty soon i stopped putting him in his cage and had someone else do it.- this is a long message - and fajr is trying to get to my fingers for a pet right now he is on my lap >U< making kiss noises... lately he's been sucking up to me and its adoraable! especially because he knows what a kiss is (.U.)- :gcc: so every time he started toward my hands i would run away because in the past he has bitten them so i pretty much never gave him the benefit of doubt.... so 4 days ago i gave him the benefit of doubt when he was coming to my fingers. i shut my eyes pretty tight and hoped real hard thatje wasnt going to bite them and i felt something againgst my fingers and it was moving so i slowly open my eyes and whaddayya know there he is rubbing his head against my fingers asking for a pet and i was so heartbroken to find out this was all he wanted and for fourmonths i was running away screaming like all heck was loose for four months and he tried for four months to tell me that he wasnt getting all the attention he wanted and he wanted a pet ( okay wait... make that three months because im pretty sure i lost my trust in him the first monht ( february) because he was being hormonal that month. so yeah me and him have turned over a new leaf. also he tries to climb up mysleev which is funny since he made it up twice- wait he's asking for a pet-ok but its adorable... a bit of bad news is that when clover sees me giving fajr attentions she gets jealous and gets mad at me and im like " what am i supposed to do you dont even like pets!" so now i often do it when she isnt looking or when she isnt there (.U<) and also clover talks a lot when she is sitting on the tv so sometimes you have to go "sssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" or clap you hands which gets her to quiet down a bit which is not much. also pajarita if you got through this whole message i have a question for you. i see that you have a quaker parrot yourself and i waswondering if its blue or green (.U.) also fajr knows how to say " whatcha doin'?" but not exactly at the right time. moslty when he is just chattering away. also clover has learned words from fajr. and also when fajr bites me i know its not because he hates me. its either i scared him. i did something wrong or he's trying to play in a not-so gentle way. but either way all our birds are doing well and i've been waiting for a long time to tell my progress with fajr >U<.

oh also no holes in feathers that i can see but.... clover had a few black spots on her tail she molted one ( also im just wondering... is it molting season for quakers? because clover has been molting.) and in the center of a few of those black spots there were holes that were noticable if you looked at it carefuly. i still have it. also i have found tiny feathers that look like wing feathers and i was wondering if its natural for birds to molt those that are only about half the size of your thumb.

They replace every feather on their bodies every 2 years including the down feathers. It is a little early for them to be molting but they are not on a normal light schedule for a bird.
I am so glad to learn that you and Fajr are working things out. How much longer before your sister comes back? It seem like she has been gone a long time.

Walker, a Quaker of my daughter's, used to make water dripping noises when I walked toward the sink.
