STOLEN PARROT! Be on the lookout

Postby jtomalley » Mon Jun 01, 2015 8:05 pm

See link: http://ow.ly/NEdO3

"Mickey" -- 28 year old hybrid Milligold Macaw, stolen from outdoor aviary at his owner's home May 14 when a man in a hooded sweatshirt jumped over a fence and took the bird in a violent robbery. There is a $1000 reward, no questions asked.

Owner is older lady with cancer and was injured while trying to fight off the thief and he pushed her down. She has had Mickey since he was a baby, and the bird is emotionally bonded to her.

*** HE MAY BE INJURED. The thief threw Mickey against a concrete wall when Mickey bit him during the theft.

If anyone in Southern California or surrounding areas (including Las Vegas, Pheonix, Tijuana etc) sees someone selling tame parrots, take a look. Mickey may be in there!

I have no words to describe how I feel right now.
I hope he is found and the man thrown up against a wall. But that is not all I feel about it.

t. i will be on the lookout. and since i dont live close to that area there just might be a chance that he is over here because the theif wanted people to think he was still there. also anything specific that would help recognize him would be helpful... like if he talks what does he say?

i hope that man ends up feeling regret that never goes away and i hope this man will feel the pain that the woman who owns the parrot felt when he stole her parrot.

well what he did was really mean and he took something precious away from this lady so he should have his most prized possession taken away from him too.
