Bunch of frauds

I have looked high and low all over the internet for a method using possative reinforcement that allows you to tame rescue birds. Not calm already tame hatchlings and juveniles full grown pissed off abused parrots. You know what I found. Scammers. Like the parrot wizard, bird tricks, and Barb. All ^&*%ing scammers. Buy my book, buy my DVD, buy this buy that. Well I've bought said this and that and what a #@%&ing waist of money! It's not covered. They tell you to slowly work your hand towards the parrot wait till it's calm then remove your hand and reward. Well I'm here to tell you that #*&% doesn't work on cases of severe hand hatred. No matter how much time you spend or how slow you go the bird will not allow you to touch it for YEARS! If any of these #%$&ing scammers gave a %$&# about the welfare of birds around the world they would give up there "secrets" for free. But they won't because they're just out to make a buck off of desperate and devastated owners who have no where else to turn and whos birds are terrified, confused and angry.

If you want a miracle then you won't find one. In some cases it does take years no matter what you do, some come around quicker. I took in an abused tiel who was approx 1 year old and had never known kindness.

This was 9 years ago roughly, she freaked out into a blind panic if I so much as stepped into the same room. It took months before she stopped freaking out and years before she was brave enough to come out her cage and this past year I have been able to touch and even cuddle her if the mood took her.

Sadly these past 12 months were her final ones as she died a few hours ago but I have enormous satisfaction that she lived at least part of her life with a good degree of trust in the person who was caring for her and hopefully feeling safe at last.

So assuming you are not a troll (I apologise for the suspicion but your manner is appalling) then I suggest you take start all over again from the very beginning and from the back of the room if need be.

Watch your language, this is a family site and there may be children reading. I have no problem with you giving your opinion but no more profanity. Fix your profile to comply with this please.

I know what u mean but I would also make people pay I mean they worked hard with their birds and they are sharing theyre helpful information with you so its actually worth it to pay im actually good at taming birds with certain methods and people pay.You obviously are doing everything wrong those people you mentioned have very helpful information and the Parrot Wizard I watched alot of his videos and they helped me get well behaved birds his videos even helped me get my birds harness trained better than the DVD that comes with it explains it.And maybe if you actually joined a forum you would learn more. What type of bird do u have if you have a large bird you shouldnt have if you dont know anything about parrots.

Obviously I have no clue what I'm doing and I should give up my birds and bow down to the parrot training gods. Especially since you've based your opinion of me and my avain knowledge on this one thread. Meanwhile the majority of these "gods" birds are hand reared and come directly from a breeder. So no abusive pasts and little to no bad habbits to correct. The few birds they do aquire that are multi home birds they refuse to show the steps taken to tame them down. Instead they show the bird before then show it midway through taming only showing what they can do with the bird not the steps involved to get from point a to point b. Then they say buy my book,DVD,sex tape to learn how I tamed and trained this bird. Then once you've bought their product you watch/read it and it doesn't tell you anything more than what you saw online. Point a and point b with no steps in between. I'm not talking about tricks or training. I'm talking about TAMING.

Did you even read my post? For the record I've used free information from various places who sell information too. I've never paid for taming information. It can be very effective if followed properly but there are no overnight cures for a fearful bird. It can take days, weeks, months or years depending on the individual birds personality, species, age and how damaged it is

Here is the thing, you come here cussing us on your very first post without even giving us a chance or knowing one single thing about us. At least Parrots for Life based his opinion on what you said and did, while you didn't give us that chance.
If you have some issue that you need help with, we are certainly willing to try to help you with it and we aren't charging you anything at all. I have asked you to drop the profanity, do you really think that this is too much to ask?
Yes, I could see to it that you are banned due to your behavior, but that is not what we are about and I would really prefer to try and help you with your birds. We are not experts, nor do we claim to be and Michael is the only one here with something to sell, but that is him and not us. He does provide this site for us to come to and share with each other free of any charge and we are not known for being very loyal to him in the fact that we do not always agree with him and say so. I am loyal to trying to make this forum a better place to come and learn from each other, and I neither ask for money nor do I receive any, none of us do. The only thing that we have in common is that we care about the birds.
With that being said, once again, I ask that you fix your profile by getting rid of the profanity and lets see what we can do to help.

Theres alot of free information that can help you tame your birds and also Clicker and Target training is very effective my first bird Rocko took around 3 months to tame by month 5 of owning him he was harness trained and my second bird Loki she was tamed in around 1–3 weeks fully because I knew what I was doing the second time and Clicker and Target training helped with that she is also now harness trained.
