Well, there are wild-caughts and then there are wild-caughts because a baby taken from a nest in the wild is a wild-caught but if he is young enough to need hand-feeding, he will imprint to humans while older birds, birds that KNOW they are birds and that humans are predators, are another story altogether.
As to training, yes, of course you can train any animal, domesticated, undomesticated, captive bred or wild born, but training is not bonding or teaching them to trust you, it's just training. And that was the OP's beef.
